  • Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues using various tools and techniques, then repairing or replacing faulty components.  Particularly, skilled in gearboxes.

  • Preventative Maintenance:

Regularly inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. 

  • Installation and Setup:

Installing new machinery, ensuring proper alignment and functionality, and setting up equipment according to specifications. 

  • Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and preventative maintenance schedules. 

  • Safety Compliance:

Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for themselves and others. 

  • Communication:

Communicating with other departments, such as production, coordinating maintenance activities and minimizing downtime. 

  • Inventory Management:

Keeping track of spare parts and supplies, and ordering replacements as needed. 

  • Training:

Training other employees on basic maintenance procedures and machine operation. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding how machines work and the ability to diagnose mechanical problems.
