Job Title: Safety Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Manager to lead our organization in maintaining and enhancing our health and safety programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety protocols and procedures that ensure a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors. The Safety Manager will collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead training sessions for employees on safety practices, procedures, and emergency response.
- Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for continuous safety improvement and hazard mitigation.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, training, and compliance documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries from employees and regulators.
- Analyze safety data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives.
- Stay current with applicable safety legislation and best practices and ensure the organization’s compliance.
- Facilitate a proactive safety culture by promoting awareness and engagement among all staff.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in safety management or a related role, preferably in machining/manufacturing
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Proven ability to analyze safety data, write reports, and make presentations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in safety management software and Microsoft Office suite.
